Frances Nell Brewer

Frances Nell McNeese Brewer was born in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late James and Myrtle Ann Thompson Mcnesse. Mrs. Brewer worked as a seamstress at Angelica Manufacturing Factory in Collinwood, TN. She was a member of the Millrock Freewill Baptist Church and attended Burns Chapel in Collinwood, TN. Mrs. Brewer departed this life on January 12, 2023 in Waynesboro, TN.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, David Brewer of Iron City, TN; daughter, Debra Ann Thrasher and husband Paul Jr. of Cypress Inn, TN; sons, Gregory Leon Risner of Killen, Al, Phillip Kurt Risner and wife Regina of Iron City, TN, and Matthew David Brewer of Iron City, TN; a sister, Glenda Gray of Muscle Shoals, AL; a brother, James Frank McNeese of Iron City, TN; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and special pet, Max.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Brewer was preceded in death by a brother, Charles McNeese; and a sister, Patricia Daniel.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Edward Burbanks officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery in Iron City, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Risner, Tyler Risner, Jason Thrasher, James Risner, Kaynen Butler, Canyon Pulley, and Brandon Thrasher.
