Floyd Michael was born December 1, 1947 in Memphis, TN the son of Alfred Russel and the late Virginia Floyd Michael.
He was united in marriage to Pat Brown on March 12, 1976.
Mr. Michael retired from Kimberly Clark in Corinth, MS then started his second career as a truck driver. He enjoyed being outside and working in his garage. He loved spending time with his wife, daughter, grandkids and great grandson. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee and really enjoyed going to church..
Mr. Michael departed this life on June 4, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 65 Years, 6 Months, 3 Days. He is survived by his wife Pat (Brown) Michael of Selmer, TN; father, Alfred Russel Michael and stepmother, Eleanor of Guys, TN; a daughter, Kim Grissom and husband Chris of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Bobby Joe Michael of Arkansas; three grand daughters, Jessica Kiestler and husband Scotty of Bethel Springs, TN, Holly Rickman and husband Matt of Selmer, TN, Samantha Poindexter of Ramer, TN; a great-grandson, Gage Kiestler of Bethel Springs, TN; three brothers, Freddie Michael of Selmer, TN, Ron Michael of Selmer, TN, Jay Starks of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Denise Littlejohn of Selmer, TN, Doris Rines of MS; special friend, Bro. Ben Martin, who lead him to Christ; special friends he had met over the years driving a truck; mother-in-law, Joann Peppers; sister-in-law, Loretta Doyle and her family; brothers-in-law, Ricky Brown and his family, Johnny Brown and his family.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Michael was preceded in death by a son, Shane Christopher Michael; a sister, Sue Worley.
