Floyd Allen Horton

Mr. Floyd Allen Horton departed this life on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama at the age of 75 Years, 8 Months, 23 Days. He was born November 18, 1943 in Collinwood, TN the son of the late James Richard and Mary Etta Faulkner Horton.

He was united in marriage to Betty Jean Holland on February 23, 1963.

Mr. Floyd was a Photographer and a member of the Grace Bible Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife Betty Jean Holland Horton, daughters, Nanette Darlene Lassiter and Tracie Leigh Horton all of Collinwood, TN, grandchildren, Cody Horton, Josh Lassiter, Kimberly Sivils, Dean Patterson and Katherine Shubert, great grandchild, Roxas Sivils, brother, Joel Richard Horton of Maryville, TN, sister Bessie Lee Steele, Statesboro,NC.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Horton was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell Horton.

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Earl Rich officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 6:00-9:00 pm and on Wednesday, August 14, 10:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, TN
