Floyd Hardin Cole Jr. was born November 2, 1961 in Waynesboro, TN the son of Rothie Nell Cole Pope and the late Floyd Hardin Cole. Mr. Cole departed this life on March 3, 2020 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 58 Years, 4 Months, 1 Day.
Mr. Cole was employed with the Wayne County Highway Deptartment and was a self employed farmer.
He is survived by his mother Rothie Nell Cole Pope and step-father J.D. Pope both of Clifton, TN; sisters, Clara Ruth Hopper, Pamela Eline Hicks both of Waynesboro, TN; step- brother, Steve Pope of Clifton, TN,step-sisters Dorris Allen of Clifton, TN, Kay Burns and Tracy Martin of Waynesboro, TN; nieces Marcy Hankins of Waynesboro,TN, Kimerly Russell of McMinnville,TN;nephew Justin Davidson of Waynesboro, TN, one great- nephew, three great-nieces, one great-great-nephew and one great-great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Hardin Cole Sr.
Services will be held on March 6, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Cole Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee.
Visitation will be held Thursday March 5, from 5 till 9 and Friday March 6 from 10:00 am till 3:00 pm.
Pallbearers include Franklin Cole, Justin Davidson, Wayne Hicks, DeWayne Cole, Wayne Cole and Morgan Hankins.
Honorary Pallbearers include Cleveland Flippo, Justin Russell, Danny Clayton, Mark Maples and Gerald Henderson.
