Florine Mitchell

Florine Bratton Mitchell



was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 8, 1921 the daughter of the late William E. and Belle Cummings Bratton.



On August 8, 1936 she was united in marriage to Walker Mitchell, who survives. Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker and was of Pentecostal belief.



She departed this life on December 31, 2006 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 10 months and 23 days.



Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband, Walker Mitchell of Savannah, Tennessee; four sons: Billy Walker Mitchell and his wife, Helen, of Adamsville, Tennessee, Jim H. Mitchell and his wife, Joyce, of Savannah, Tennessee, Wallace Mitchell and his wife, Sue, of Savannah, Tennessee and Robert Joe Mitchell and his wife, Jeannie, of Savannah, Tennessee;

three daughters: Evelyn Morris and her husband, Aaron, of Lutts, Tennessee, Jerline Dodd and her husband, W.C., of Savannah, Tennessee and Pauline Mitchell of Savannah, Tennessee;

24 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Eva Bratton Mitchell of Savannah, Tennessee.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jim Brennon Mitchell; five brothers: Cleatus Bratton, Walker Bratton, Gilbert Bratton, Glenn Bratton and Leonard Paul Bratton and two sisters: Fleetie Mae Bratton and Myrtle Hampton.
