Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 6, 1930 the daughter of the late Henry and Ester Clay.
In 1948 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Ray Irons, who preceded his wife in death on March 30, 1998.
Mrs. Irons was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She departed this life on January 9, 2006 at the Savannah Healthcare in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 3 days.
Mrs. Irons is survived by one son, David Ray Irons of Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
3 grandchildren, David W. Irons, Aaron R. Irons and Christopher R. Irons.
One great-grandchild, Ashley Jordan Irons
2 brother and 4 sisters, Jim, Paul, Lydia, Patsy, Betty and Shirley.
Mrs. Irons was also preceded in death by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
