Florence Margaret Gann

Florence Margaret Hockaday Gann was born April 21, 1916 in McNairy, Tennessee the daughter of the late John Lee and Mary Etta Willis Hockaday. She was united in marriage to John P. Gann on November 4th, 1933. Mrs. Gann was a housewife and a member of the Union Grove Methodist Church.Mrs. Gann departed this life on July 12, 2006 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 2 Months, 21 Days. She is survived by two daughters Mildred J. Pollard of Washington, IL and Margaret Alexander of Adamsville; one son William S. Gann of Selmer; Six grandchildren Terry Pollard, Rayburn Pollard Jr., Tony Pollard, Paul Pollard, Autumn Pollard and William S. Gann II; Nine Great grandchildren.Mrs. Gann was preceded in death by her husband John P. Gann; son John L. Gann; parents John Lee and Mary Etta Willis Hockaday; three sisters Nora Ashe, Cora Ashe and Ava Evans; two brothers Bonny Hockaday and Ben Hockaday.
