Florence Lewis Cearley, 79, of Bolivar, died Thursday, October 20, 2005 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widow of Hugh Cearley, who died January 24, 1994, she was a homemaker and former owner of “Cearley’s†Restaurant. Mrs. Cearley was born September 26, 1926 in Perry County, daughter of the late Cecil Virgle Lewis and Lauis Emma Horner Lewis and lived here for the past 50 years. She loved to cook and take care of the people around her and was once a member of the State Champion Basketball team. She was a member of Toone Baptist Church.
Services were 2 pm Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Bro. Sam Watkins officiating. Burial was in Cearley Cemetery near Bolivar.
She is survived by son, Phillip Denton Cearley of Bolivar and two brothers, Gene Lewis of Fairview and Tony Lewis of Perry County.
