Flora Lorena Fitzgerald, 88, of Bethel Springs, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Hardin County Medical Center in Savannah.
The wife of Max Henry Fitzgerald, who survives, she was an office worker at Sealtest/Kraft Foods for 30 years. Mrs. Fitzgerald was born March 22, 1918 in Memphis, daughter of the late Charles Samuel and Janie Brady Mobley. She was an honor society member at Central High School in Memphis and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Selmer.
Services were 11:00 AM Friday, May 26, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Scott Edmondson officiating. Burial was in Saulsbury Cemetery.
In addition to her husband, whom she married August 1, 1977, survivors include two sons, Calvin D. Cole of Charlotte, NC and Stanley M. “Mike†Cole, Sr. of Batesville, Ark.; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and four brothers, John Winfield, Jr., Frank Winfield and Robert Winfield, all of Bartlett and Joe Winfield of Byhalia, MS. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, John H. Winfield, Sr. and one brother, David Winfield.
