Faye M. Stanley

Faye M. Stanley was born January 22, 1926 in Milledgeville, Tennessee the daughter of the late Charles and Arbie Kent Meek.She was united in marriage to Jim Frank Stanley on June 22, 1942. Mr. Stanley preceded her in death on March 18, 1973.Mrs. Stanley was retired from Brown Shoe Company in Selmer after 33 years of service. She was a member of the Adamsville First United Methodist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee since she was a teenager. She was also a member of the Coleman Smith Sunday School Class.Mrs. Stanley departed this life on April 20, 2009 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 2 Months, 29 Days. She is survived by three daughters, Jackie Hutton and husband Roy of Adamsville, TN, Frankie Hill and husband Joe of Selmer, TN, Kimberly Garza of Savannah, TN; a half-brother, Chuck Meek and wife Sherry of Milledgeville, TN; four grandchildren, Blane Hutton, Michele Rodgers, Melanie Hill, Justin Hill; four great grandchildren, Taylor Hutton, Gracie Hutton, Megan Rodgers and Nicole Rodgers.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her step-mother Willa Meek.
