Faye Spears

Faye Spears departed this life on Sunday, September 29, 2013, at the age of 79 years, 5 months, 5 days.

She was born in Union City, Tennessee on April 24, 1934, the daughter of the late James Crowell and Lula Mae Irvine Harris. On November 6, 1954, she was united in marriage to W.E. Spears, who survives. Faye was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ. She retired from Brown Shoe Company, she had worked in production, shipping and payroll.

Faye is survived by her husband of 58 years, W.E. Spears of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Janie Spears Blount and husband Freddy of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Gary Spears and wife Vicki of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Bradley Spears and wife Anna of Savannah, Tennessee, Jeremy Blount and wife Kelly of Nashville, Tennessee, Matthew Blount and wife Rebecca of Chapel Hill, Tennessee; great grandchildren, Jackson and Keegan Blount.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Wilma Kelley.
