Henderson, TN: Virginia Faye Flatt age 67 passed away September 9, 2016 at her home.
She was born March 16, 1949 in Jackson, TN the daughter of the late J.B. and Mable Burney Rinks. She attended schools in Chester County. She worked for Dixie Crème Donut Shop in Henderson. She also painted, mowed yards and did several other odd jobs. Faye was married to Charles Flatt, September 5, 1994. She was Pentecostal in belief.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Flatt of Henderson; two daughters, Debra Warren and husband Chris of Henderson and Shelly Davis of Henderson; two sisters, Lucille Maness and Dorothy Hilliard both of Henderson; three brothers, Walter Julion Rinks, Larry Rinks and Neal Rinks all of Henderson and three grandchildren, Wesley Warren, Katie Bell and Nicholas Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dwain Rinks and Henry Rinks.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 12, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Terry Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Sanford Rogers Cemetery in Henderson.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel beginning at 4:00 PM on Sunday.
