Faye Ervin Burkeen

Faye Ervin Burkeen, 73, of Medon, died early Friday morning, April 8, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of W. O. Burkeen, who survives, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Burkeen was born February 29, 1932 in Hornsby, daughter of the late Cassie Columbus Ervin and Minnie Pirtle Ervin and lived here all of her life. She was a member of New Union Baptist Church near Medon.
Services were 2 PM Sunday, April 10 at Shackelford Funeral Drectors Bolivar chapel with Orville McMahan officiating. Burial was in New Union Cemetery.
In addition to her husband, whom she married March 8, 1952, survivors include one son, Wayne Burkeen of Medon; three daughters & their husbands, Linda & Willie Haase of Mercer, Brenda & Randy McAnally and Betty Carol & James Gordon Bass, all of Medon, and two grandchildren, Brandon Haase and James Donald Bass.
