Faye Etta Arnett

Faye Etta (Faye) Hensley Arnett was born December 5, 1933 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Shelby Rippy and Ellen Arlene Adams Hensley. Mrs. Arnett departed this life on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Shoals Hospital in Muscle Shoals, Alabama at the age of 75 Years, 3 Months, 20 Days. In addition to her parents, Mrs Arnett was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Franklin Arnett, Jr.; three brothers, William (Bill) Hensley, Teddy Hensley, and Ralph Hensley; and a sister, Elizabeth (Hensley) Dowdy.



She was retired from Angelica and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.



She is survived by four sons, Tony Arnett and wife, Teresa, and Randall Arnett and wife, Marguerita both of Iron City, TN; Jeff Arnett and wife, Teresa of Collinwood, TN, and Darin Arnett and wife, Stephanie of Iron City, TN; three brothers, Frank Junior Hensley and wife, Pearline of Collinwood, TN, Charles Ray Hensley and wife, Pauline, and Johnny Hensley and wife, Dorothy all of Cypress Inn, TN; a sister, Era Jean Umstead and husband, Wayne of Kingston Springs, TN; seven grandchildren, Eric Arnett, Shelby Arnett Borum, Haley Arnett, Trenton Arnett, Kodi Arnett, Laken Arnett, Jaret Arnett; and a great-grandchild, Gauge Borum; several nieces and nephews.



Services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church, Iron City, Tennessee, with Houston Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery at Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Friday, March 27, 2009 from 8 am to service time at Macedonia Baptist Church.



Pallbearers will be Eric, Trenton, and Kodi Arnett, Terry, Keith, and Tyler Hensley.
