Fay Edwin Brewer

Services for Fay Edwin Brewer, 73, Iron City, TN, will be Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, with Talmadge Roberts and Mark Melson officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Iron City, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 am to service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Travis, Kenneth, Sammy, and Charles Martin, Randy, Dennis, Darrell, and Greg Brewer, Jason Hunt, and Marcus Staggs.



He died at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, TN on Monday, November 6, 2006 after an extended illness.



Mr. Brewer, a native of Wayne County, TN, was retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company and was of the Missionary Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Mamie Todd Brewer, sister, Jewell Ezell, and brother, McArthur Brewer.



Survivors, wife, Lois Daniel Brewer, son, Hank (Martha) Brewer, daughters, Pamela (Randy) Hunt, Anita (Steve) Petty, all of Iron City, TN, Stephanie (John) Walker, Waynesboro, grandchildren, Marsha (Marcus) Staggs, Jason Hunt, Kendra Walker, Jake Brewer, step-grandchildren, Jessica Shands, Karla Gray, Brennen Walker, great-grandchild, Daniel Hunt, step-great-grandchild, Peyton Shands, brothers, Dexter Brewer,

Cypress Inn, Carlin and Norris Brewer, both of Iron City, sisters, Nell Martin, Judy Daniel, and Eva Kelley, all of Iron City, several nieces and nephews.
