Memorial services for Fannie Hazel Brewer Weaver, age 76 of Iron City, TN will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Eural Daniel, Jr. officiating. Her remains were cremated.Mrs. Weaver died Saturday, October 9, 2010 at her home in Iron City. She was born July 8, 1934 in Cypress Inn, Tennessee the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison and Mary Ester Whitehead Brewer. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, Gifford Weaver, Sr. two step-sons, James and Herschel Weaver; six brothers, Charles, Jemes, J.W., Ray, Grady, and Bill Brewer; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Brewer and Lillie Brewer. She was a retired factory worker and a member of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church.She is survived by two sons, Leroy Weaver of St. Joseph, TN and Gifford Weaver Jr. of Cypress Inn, TN; a daughter, Ruby Malone of Tuscumbia, AL; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Johnny Brewer of Waynesboro, TN, Howard Brewer of Lutts, TN, and Grayford Brewer of Marion, KY; three sisters, Iva Dean Milam of Chatsworth, GA, Rachel Bryon of Tyler, TX, and Alma Bromley of Iron City, TN; several nieces and nephews.
