Fannie Nelms

Fannie Doyle Nelms, 86, of Middleton, died Friday, June 2, 2006 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.



The widow of James Frank Nelms, who died November 6, 1989, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Nelms was born April 14, 1920 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late John ansd Alma Pipkin Doyle. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, loved to garden and loved her grandkids and being a grandma.



Services were 2:00 pm Monday, June 5, 2006 at Hebron Baptist Church with Orville McMahan officiating. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery near Middleton.



She leaves three daughters, Elizabeth Tillmon, Alma Kirby and Martha Tillmon, all of Bolivar; three sons, William Earl Nelms and James Neal Nelms, both of Bolivar and Calvin Nelms of Arlington, Tex.; one sister, Muriel West of Bolivar; seventeen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Viola Bass, Dora Brumbelow and Helen Marcum and four brothers, Willie, Alfie, Arlan and Curtis Doyle.
