Evelyn Taylor

Evelyn Darby Taylor was born October 1, 1920 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Ralph and Laura Pearl Tedford Darby.She was united in marriage to Allen D. Taylor on April 9, 1939.Mrs. Taylor was retired from Conitnental Baking Company . She attended Gravel Hill Baptist church and was a member of West Corinth Baptist church.Mrs. Taylor departed this life on May 7, 2010 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 7 Months, 6 Days. She is survived by her husband of seventy-one years, Allen D. Taylor of Michie, TN; a sister, Lessie McCarter of Corinth, MS; host of nieces, nephews and friends.In addition to her parents, Mrs Taylor was preceded in death by two sisters, Justine Darby, Bessie Whaley; a brother, W.J. Darby.
