Evelyn Reaves

EVELYN GODWIN REAVESwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 14, 1933 the daughter of the late Lewis Valentine and Nancy Elizabeth Ward Godwin.On July 1, 1980 she was united in marriage to Dew Edward Reaves, who preceded his wife in death on April 1, 1999.Mrs. Reaves was a retired machine operator for Garan Manufacturing Company. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Olive Hill, Tennessee. Mrs. Reaves loved to read.She departed this life on June 22, 2008 at the Savannah Healthcare in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 8 days.Mrs. Reaves is survived by 2 brothers, Elvin Lewis Godwin and Nelson Baxter Godwin, both of Savannah, Tennessee.3 nieces and 2 nephewsOther than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Buford Earl Godwin.
