Evelyn Elise Ray

Elise Turnbo Ray was born February 1, 1929 in Lewis Co., Tennessee, the daughter of the late Marie Turnbo. She was united in marriage to Robert Howard Ray and he preceded her in death on September 29, 2006. Mrs. Ray was retired from Genesco Shoe.Mrs. Ray departed this life on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 9 Months, 26 Days.She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Ray McDaniel of Nashville, TN and three grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Friday, November 28, 2008 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, November 29, 2008 from 8 am to service time at the funeral home.
