She was of Foley, Alabama, formerly of Braggadocio, MO, Hickory Valley and Turner, AR and passed away at her daughter's home in Foley, AL.
The wife of Rev. William A. Powell, who preceded her in death in 1993, she was a devoted wife and a dear mother. She was born to the late William Williams and Carlis Tidwell Williams and is survived by three sisters, Ruby Sullivan of Gladstone, AR; Margaret Decker of Portageville, MO; Kathryn Burns of Gladstone, OR; a brother, Emory Wiliams of Tucson, AZ; two daughters, Beverlyn Griffin of Foley and Carole Meyers of Marion, AR; two sons, Dan Powell of Woodland, WA and Randy Powell of Bryant, AR; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
