Eva Elizabeth Wright Roberson

Eva Elizabeth Wright Roberson of Cypress Inn, TN was born January 30, 1923 in Cypress Inn, TN, the daughter of the late John Henry and Fannie Bell Sherrill Wright. She was united in marriage to Coleman Roberson on May 12, 1946 and he preceded her in death on August 29, 1992.

Mrs. Roberson was a retired seamstress and was a member of the Burns Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City, Tennessee and departed this life on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at E C M Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 93 Years, 5 Months, 7 Days.

She is survived by sons, Danny Roberson and wife, Delia of Iron City, TN, Terry Roberson and wife, Sharon and Jerry Roberson and wife, Cindy all of Collinwood, TN; stepson, Stanley Benny Roberson and wife, Shirley of Buford, GA; a stepdaughter, Eleanor Robbins of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Bruce Roberson, Jason Roberson, Rachel Davis, Betsy Price, Jody Roberson; step-grandchildren, Becky Tatum, Jackie Robbins and Michael Roberson; great-grandchildren, Sara Roberson, Ellie Roberson, Cole and Cooper Davis, Jaylee Price; ste- great-grandson Trent Tatum; brothers, Jay Wright, Collinwood, TN, Clayborn Wright, Lawrenceburg, TN, Clifford Wright and Guilford Wright both of Iron City, TN; sisters, Ruthie Patterson of Hornersville, MO and Ruia Pigg of Collinwood, TN and special caregivers, Nell Cole and Pat Long.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Roberson was preceded in death by a son, John Thomas Roberson; brothers, Johnny B. Wright, Robert D. Wright and a sister, Ruby Southerland.

Services will be Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Edward Burbank officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Bruce Roberson, Jason Roberson, Jason Price, Zac Davis, Kane Roberts and Junior Wright with Jody Roberson serving as honorary pallbearer.
