Mrs. Howell passed away Saturday morning, December 24, 2011 at her home in Middleton.



The wife of Wiliam T. Howell, who survives, she worked as a manager for 7/11 Convenience Stores and also was a factory worker, working for MasterSlack in Bolivar. She was born June 27, 1932, in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Neil and Adeline Lowe Freeman and lived in the Memphis area for 20 years, from 1970-90 and in Middleton after that. Mrs. Howell was a member of Brints Chapel Baptist Church.



In addition to her husband, whom she married on March 11, 1950, survivors include four sons, Tommy Howell of West Memphis, Ark., Johnny Howell of Middleton, William G. Howell of Saulsbury and Danny L. Howell of Palatine, Ill.; a daughter, Marylin J. Howell of Middleton; a sister, Dorothy King of Covington, Georgia; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Mae Howell; three sisters, Louise Wagner, Francis Lomick and Annie Lou Knott and five brothers, Frank, Everett, Lester, James and Ford Freeman.
