Eva Barlow Glover

Eva Barlow Glover of Adamsville was born on August 30, 1912, in Sweetwater, Texas, to George J. and Nancy Jane Barlow. She was retired from William F. Bowld Hospital in Memphis and a member of Shiloh Methodist Church. Mrs. Glover died on Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer at the age of 96 years, 3 months, and 9 days. She was the widow of Bill Glover.Survivors are a daughter Billie Glover Cook and husband Murray of Jackson, Tennessee; grandson, Robert Allen Miller and wife Danielle of Robbins Air Force Base, Georgia; two brothers, Evan Barlow of Adamsville and Ernest Barlow of Kingston, Tennessee; special friends, Louise Garrison and Sallie White, both of Adamsville. A host of other relatives and friends.Other than her husband and parents, Mrs. Glover was also preceded in death by a daughter Jane Glover Miller on April 9, 1999. Also two sisters, Mary Jane Williams and Jewel Pickens, and two brothers, Howard and Aubrey Barlow.
