Services for Eva Nell Gann, age 81, of Collinwood, TN will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Shackelford Chapel in Collinwood with Tim Hanback, John E. Banks, and Douglas Paul officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.
She was born October 21, 1926 in Millport, Alabama to the late Chester Felton Billingsley and Auneeta Fields Billingsley. She died Monday, September 15, 2008 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin A. Gann and a daughter, Sherry Darlene Gann. She grew up in Lamar County, Alabama, however, she has made her home in Collinwood since 1953. She was a housewife, mother, grandmother, and babysitter. Mrs. Gann was a member of Collinwood Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by sons, Jimmy Gann and his wife Wanda of Waynesboro, TN, Duane Gann and his wife Sandy of Tupelo, MS; daughters, Carol Crews and her husband David of Cypress Inn, TN, Cathy Jones and her husband Steve and Renee Littlejohn and her husband Jonathan both of Collinwood, TN
10 grandchildren, Brian Crews and his wife Valerie, Joy Stults, and her husband Stephen, Tonya Simmons and her husband Ty, Jaime Gann and his wife Regina, Nathan Gann, Raven Gann, Jana Jones, Evan Jones, Alissa Littlejohn, and Alden Littlejohn;
12 great grandchildren, Dustin Simmons, Michael Simmons, Melanie Simmons, Andrew Simmons, Brandon Simmons, Aaron Gann, Ryan Gann, Kayla Crews, Hunter Crews, Ally Crews, Rachel Stults, and Gabriella Stults and lots of other kids who call her MaMa Gann;
