Eva Lee Claunch

April 29, 1918 — August 30, 2007

Mrs. Eva Lee Tigner Claunch, 89, of Oakland, Tn., died Thursday August 30, 2007, in her home in Oakland. Mrs. Claunch was a native of Hardeman County, lived in Somerville since 1980, and in Oakland for the last few years. The widow of Paul Tigner, who died in 1975 and Arthur F. Claunch, she was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her children. She loved when they were all together, loved to sing for the Lord and play the organ. She attended "Faith Church of God" in Somerville.

Her survivors are three daughters, Joanne Straight of Merrillville, Ind.; Betty Claunch of Oakland, Tn,; LInda Mischanko of Portage, Ind.; 1 son, Jerry Lynn Tigner of Coldwater, Ms.; seven grandchildren, thirteen great great grandchildren,; seven step children and their families,; and a dear friend Ms. Helen Adair. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her by parents William Sherman "Bill" Cox and Rosie Lee Ann Puckett Cox, and a sister, Prillie Owens.
