Eunice Haggard

Eunice Cagle Haggard



was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 7, 1922 the daughter of the late Lloyd Hasson and Carrie Finley Turner Cagle.



On February 16, 1946 she was united in marriage to Otis Byron "Sam" Haggard, who preceded her in death on February 11, 1995.



Mrs. Haggard had lived in the Hardin County and Cerro Gordo area all of her life. She was employed with Brown Shoe Company for 25 years as a Insoler before retiring. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and gardening, and she was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church.



Mrs. Haggard departed this life on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the age of 87 years, 3 months, 3 days.



Mrs. Haggard is survived by a daughter, Judy Ann Haggard Fentress of Greenbriar, Tennessee; a son, Roy Gene Haggard and wife Debra of Savannah, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren, Rebecca Fentress Miller and husband Chris, Elizabeth Fentress Clinard and husband Scott, Jacob Fentress and wife Brandy, and Ashley Haggard; 5 great-grandchildren, Katie Miller, Andrew Miller, Carley Clinard, Abby Clinard, and Josie Fentress; a brother, Burnace Cagle of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and a sister, Grace Holt of Savannah, Tennessee.



In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Robert Cagle, Otis Cagle, and L.H. Cagle, Jr.; 2 sisters, Ruth Delaney and Ina Kate Blackwelder.
