Eula Mae Barnes Joyner was born September 18, 1929 in Finger, Tennessee the daughter of the late Clifford and Athlee Droke Barnes.She was united in marriage to James LaFayette (J.L.) Joyner on November 15, 1947. To this union three daughters were born.Leaving to cherish her memory are three daughters: Virginia Mayfield (Harold) of Jackson, Tennessee, Dorothy Johnson (Randy Camper) of Scotts Hill, Tennessee, and Patsy Joyner of Jackson, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Darrell Glen Johnson (Pattie), Teresa Johnson, Brandy Joyner and Michael Joyner; seven great grandchildren, Anthony, Alyssa, Kobe, Shelby, Kolton, Allison and Brandon; and a brother, R. C. Barnes.She was a member of Finger church of Christ and attended Finger school. Mrs. Joyner was a fun loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved Gospel music, country music and going to eat. She also loved getting out and going places.Passing on May 25, 2010, she is preceded in death by her husband (January 9, 2000), her brother, Ray Barnes (September 6, 2001) and her sister Ruby Faye Russom (May 19, 2010).
