EUDA WOOD HALL
Henderson: Mrs. Mattie R. Euda Wood Hall, age 92, died Monday afternoon at the Chester County Healthcare.
Mrs. Hall was born and reared in the Montezuma Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late William Marcus and Virginia Garner Wood. She attended schools in Chester County and in 1932 was married to Gene Hall and they made their home in the Cave Springs community where they farmed and Mrs. Hall worked at Salant & Salant for 20 years, retiring in 1980. Mr. Hall preceded in death in 1996. Mrs. Hall continued to make her home in the Silerton Road area until 2002. She was a member of the Cave Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters; Carolyn Jean McNeese and husband Vernon of Nashville, and Diane Davidson and husband Jerry of Henderson, and a son Rickey Hall and wife Barbara of Henderson. She had a son, Gene Hall, Jr. who died in an auto accident in 1961. She has five grandchildren: Mark Davidson, Steve Davidson, Jeff Hall, Holly Rogers, and Randy McNeese, and seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hall is also survived by a brother W. M. Wood of Peoria, IL and two sisters; Naomi Graves and Beautaun Essary Marsh both of Henderson. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Curtis Wood and Woodrow Wood, and two sisters; Allene McKenzie and Maurine Crouse.
