Etta Sue Ray McKee, 72, of Middleton, died Tuesday morning, November 15, 2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of Burton McKee, who survives, she was a homemaker. Mrs. McKee was born November 19, 1932 in Bethel Springs, daughter of the late Vernon and Beatrice Cox Ray and lived here most of her life. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
Services were 1 pm Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Bertie Moore officiating. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery near Middleton.
In addition to her husband, whom she married December 25, 1949, she is survived by five daughters, Janice Sue Mynatt of Bolivar, Patricia Ann Griffin of Selmer and Ruth Evelyn Mynatt, Linda Joyce Lance and Betty Jean Steward, all of Bolivar; two sons, Burton Wayne McKee of Faulkner, Miss. and William Milton McKee of Middleton; one brother, Melvin Ray of Cordova; thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
