Ethel Grantham, 85, of Bolivar, died Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widow of George Earl Grantham, who died August 16, 1972, she retired from Kilgore in 1987 after 27 years of service. Mrs. Grantham was born September 27, 1920 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late William Allen Francis and Zora Francis Kadell and lived in Hardeman County all of her life. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary and the First Baptist Church of Bolivar.
Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 10, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar with David Cooper officiating. Burial is in Ebenezer Cemetery near Toone.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha Bartholomew of Bolivar; one son, James Allen Grantham of Bartlett; three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Toby Francis.
