Estelle Vaughn

Mrs. Vaughn passed away Wednesday at Methodist Hospital in Germantown. She was the widow of James 'Puddin' Vaughn, who died on July 18, 2000.
Born February 19, 1918 to James Oscar and Dosha Irene Hensley Smith, she was a homemaker and native of Saulsbury. She was a member of Grand Junction Methodist Church and lived most of her life in Grand Junction.
Survivors include one son Alton Vaughn of Grand Junction, one sister Dorothy Finley of Memphis; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and late husband, she is preceded in death by one sister Bernice McKinnie and one Brother Jewel Shearon.
Services will be held Saturday, January 3 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford's Bolivar Chapel with Jim McKinnie officiating. Burial will be in the Grand Junction City Cemetery
