ESTELLE G. TUCKER
was born January 17, 1918 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of James Daniel and Lounettie Steward Clausel. On August 14, 1948, she was united in marriage to James A. Gillespie who preceded her in death. On May 26, 1974, she was united in marriage to Martin Tucker who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Tucker was a homemaker and, during her years in Savannah, a member of the Savannah Church of Christ. While living in Murfreesboro, she was a member of the Walter Hill Church of Christ.
On November 23, 2005, Mrs. Tucker departed this life at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She had lived 87 years, 10 months and 6 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Gillespie of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her son, George K. Gillespie of LaVergne, Tennessee; four sisters, Juanita Wolfe of Erin, Tennessee and Mildred Dickson, Nettie Sue Hughes and Betty Lou Blount, all of Savannah, Tennessee and one brother, James L. Clausel, also of Savannah, Tennessee.
Other than her husbands, she was preceded in death by one sister, Magdalene Hardin.
