Estella West Daniel, 84, of Saulsbury, died Friday, October 21, 2005 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East.
The wife of Maurice Daniel, who survives, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Daniel was born May 10, 1921 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Bryan and Maude Cossar West and lived in Saulsbury most of her life. She was a member of Saulsbury Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for over 40 years, and she enjoyed crafts.
Services were 10 am Monday, October 24, 2005 at Saulsbury Baptist Church with Larry Corder, Rhesa Davis and Jim Madden officiating. Burial was in West Memorial Cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of arrangements.
In addition to her husband, whom she married December 28, 1938, she is survived by three daughters, Idelett West and her husband, Ronald, and Brenda Cox, all of Ashland, Miss. and Patty Chute of Cordova; one son, Allen Daniel and his wife, Myrna, of Bartlett; two sisters, Earlene Wheeler of Bolivar and Betty Burnett of Middleton; three grandchildren, Danny Eytchison and David and Dennis Chutt and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, J.B. West.
