Essie Sisk

Essie Sisk was born March 7, 1926 in McNairy County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late John H. and Berdie Elizabeth King Murphy.She was united in marriage to Paul Sisk who preceded her in death on April 2, 2002.Mrs. Sisk was a Machine Operator for Brown Shoe Company in Selmer, Tennessee. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee.Mrs. Sisk departed this life on April 30, 2008 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 1 Month, 23 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Jenise Smith and husband Rickie of Finger, TN; a son, Leon Sisk of Selmer, TN; a sister, Ollen Alexander of Oakland, TN; 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and a special niece, Carolyn Carroll of Selmer, TN.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Sisk was preceded in death by three sons, Gene Sisk, Teddy Sisk, Johnnie Sisk; a sister, Lessie Hicks and four brothers, Pete Murphy, Virgil Murphy, J. L. Murphy, and Troy Murphy.
