Services for Essie Melissa Worsham Pope, age 90, of Waynesboro, TN will be Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Dan White officiating. Burial will follow in Phillips Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.She was born April 6, 1920 in Fordoche, Louisiana the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Louisa Cavin Worsham. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pope was preceded in death by her husband Willard Lemuel Pope, daughter, Charlotte House, great-grandson, Ian Lovvorn; 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Mrs. Pope died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro. Mrs. Pope, a hospital payroll administration, was a member of the Eastern Star and the Methodist Church. She is survived by a granddaughter, Candace Williamson of Huntsville, AL; great-grandchildren, Tessa Lovvorn and Zoe Williamson
