Ernestine Pyron Tidwell

Ernestine Pyron Tidwell was born November 4, 1921 in Adamsville, TN, the daughter of the late Ernest "Pete" Pyron and Dorothy "Dot" Stanley Pyron. She departed this life on October 19, 2022 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 100 Years, 11 Months, 15 Days.

Ernestine was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. She worked many years at Garan Manufacturing. She was an excellent seamstress and a perfectionist in whatever she set out to do.

Ernestine took great care of her family and enjoyed cooking for them, especially on holidays. She made the best yeast rolls! She also cared for others, taking them specially made foods.

She is survived by a son, Steve Tidwell and wife Barbara of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Cathy Venable and husband Jim of Medon, TN; five grandchildren: Greg DeBerry, Mark DeBerry and wife Paquita, Dr. Craig Tidwell and wife Cindy, Chad Tidwell and wife Kelly, Megan King and husband Robert; eight great grandchildren: Chase Tidwell, Olivia Tidwell, Sam Tidwell, Sayler Tidwell, Tatum Tidwell, Payton Rogers, Kyndal King and Brayden King.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tidwell was preceded in death by her husband, George "Jakie" Tidwell on March 14, 1998; and a daughter, Sherry DeBerry.
