Ernest Vaughn

Ernest Thomas (Tom) Vaughn, 79, of Savannah, died Wednesday, December 5, in Honolulu, Hawaii.He was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late JC and Hazel Avanda Arnold Vaughn. He was united in marriage to Helen Deloris Huffstutler, who preceded him in death on February 22, 1988.Mr. Vaughn served his country honorably in the United States Army.He is survived by a son, Todd Ernest Vaughn of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee; daughters, Brenda Lee Riggall of Hawaii and Myra Lynn Duke of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; a brother, Richard Vaughn of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, LaDonna Hill of Lakeland, Florida; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Vaughn and Ronald Davis; a sister, Thelma Blevins.
