Ernest Julius Taylor of Waynesboro, TN was born May 4, 1928 in South Hill, VA, the son of the late Ernest Mason Taylor and Mary G. Wright Taylor. He was united in marriage to the former Sharlene Iha and she preceded him in death on March 11, 2019.
Mr. Taylor was a power production manager with Global Associates and served in the United States Air Force. He departed this life on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 10 Months, 26 Days.
He is survived by a son, Daniel R. Taylor of Kyles Ford, TN and a daughter, Julie A. Stinson of Pilot Point, TX.
At his request, his body will be cremated and buried in Texas. Shackelford Funeral Directors is assisting the family.
