Ernest J. Blanchard departed this life on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the age of 65 years, 3 months, and 13 days. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on October 23, 1956, the son of Della Vanatti Blanchard and the late Arthur Leon Blanchard, Jr.
In addition to his mother, Ernest is survived by his son, Jesse Blanchard of Plainwell, Michigan; grandchildren, Grace Blanchard and Lane Blanchard, both of Plainwell, Michigan; sister, Cora Lehto; and brothers, Jack Blanchard and Joseph Blanchard.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Connie Grassnick, Carol Hutchins, and Christine Eastlick.
