He was born in Perry County, and grew up in Hohenwald, TN, the son of Helen Bates and the late J.L. Hardison. He graduated Lewis County High School in 1981. He loved to play football. He went to work for the State of Tennessee, right out of high school, with the Department of Corrections. He was also a Co-Owner of Armstrong Pie Company where he was a distributor in the West TN Area. He was married to Annie Wilson in 1988 of Lewis County. They made their home in Hohenwald until moving to Henderson in 2003. He was an outdoor person, loved to hunt and fish and was a car enthusiast and followed all the kids’ sports events. He was a dedicated father and proud grandfather. He attended the First Assembly of God Church in Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Wilson Hardison; 3 sons, Casey Jordan Hardison, Cameron “Scooter†Hardison and Ethan Chase Hardison all of Henderson; one daughter, Susane Kendall Lockard (PFC Josh Walker Lockard) of Lyles, TN; his mother, Helen Bates of Lyles, TN and his step mother, Gail Hardison of Columbia, TN; two grandchildren, Kendall Gail Lockard of Lyles and Garrett Jordan Hardison of Henderson; two brothers, Sam Hardison of Columbia and David Hardison of Lyles; two sisters, Jennifer Edwards of Jackson and Whitney Medford of Lyles.
