Eric Duncan, 46, of Bolivar, died Sunday evening, March 12, 2006 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The husband of Lisa Powell Duncan, who survives, he was a self employed carpenter and had worked for a time as a shore tankerman. Mr. Duncan was born March 2, 1960 in Knoxville, son of Elizabeth Duncan of Nashville and William E. (Bill) Duncan, III of Franklin and lived around Bolivar most of his life. He was a member of Middleburg Baptist Church.
Services were 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Ricky Watkins officiating. Burial was in Woods Cemetery near Hickory Valley.
In addition to his wife, whom he married March 20, 1987, and his parents, survivors include two sons, Chase and Casey Duncan, both of Bolivar; two brothers, Bart Duncan of Franklin and Maury Richards of Whiteville; one sister, Liba Frawley of Birmingham; two grandchildren, Austin and Kyle Roberts; brother-in-law, Richard Powell; niece, Stacy Powell and great niece, Jordan Stewart, all of Bolivar. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Leslie Roberts.
