Era Rich

ERA RICHwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 13, 1917 the daughter of the late John and Hallie Morton Godwin.On April 18, 1936 she was united in marriage to Arlie Clebert Rich, who preceded his wife in death on November 30, 1991.Mrs. Rich was a homemaker. She was a member of Campground United Methodist Church, the Hardin County Republican Women. Mrs. Rich was a former 4-H volunteer leader and a volunteer for the Hardin County Fair. She departed this life on July 21, 2008 at the Savannah Healthcare in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 90 years, 8 months and 8 days.Mrs. Rich is survived by one daughter, Martha Kay Rich Blakney of Knoxville, Tennessee5 grandchildren, Charles Rich, Samantha Brown, Tasha Blakney, Bartee Rich and Matthew Blakney2 great-grandchildren, Tabitha Anderson and Wyatt RichMrs. Rich was also preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Caroline Rich, one son, Ray C. Rich, 2 sisters, Ruby Adell Godwin and Lucille Harrison, 2 brothers, L. V. and Dewey Godwin and one grandchild, Rachel Anderson.
