Emogene Smith Scott was born November 30, 1925 in McNairy County, Tennessee, the daughter of Henry B. and Ida Coker Smith. In 1949, she was united in marriage to Albert Cleo Scott, who preceded her in death in 1989.
She departed this life while a patient at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah on August 17, 2005 at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 18 days.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her son, Mike Scott of Adamsville; 2 granddaughters, Bethany and Miranda Scott of Martin, Tennessee; 2 grandsons, Lucas Scott of Adamsville and Landon Scott of Martin, Tennessee and a sister-in-law, Naomi Kerrigan of Adamsville.
Other than her husband, Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Aaron Smith.
