Emma Lee Hickerson Petty

Mrs. Emma Lee Hickerson Petty, was born August 11, 1948 in Savannah, TN the daughter of the late George and Emma Morris Hickerson. Mrs. Petty was a retired factory worker with Angelica and attended the Waynesboro Church of God.
She was united in marriage to Bunda Petty on May 12, 1984. Mr. Petty preceded her in death on December 25, 2020.
She is survived by son, Rocky Lockard of Lawrenceburg, TN, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, step son Darryl Petty of Waynesboro, TN, step daughter, Judy Arthur of Lynchburg, TN, nieces, Sue, Ellen, Lisa, Wanda and Kathey, nephews, Johnny, Jimmy and Donnie
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Petty was preceded in death by
four sisters, Frances Crumpton, Lois Melson, Edna Clara Hill and Emma Hickerson, three brothers, Willie Author , Virgel Jean and Larance Dougles Hickerson.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Savannah, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 7, 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
