Emma Jack Parker passed away on October 5, 2022 at Riverwick Assisted Living in Savannah, Tennessee. She was born on May 5, 1930 to Wheeler and Vianna Cherry Johnson. Emma was valedictorian of her 1947 graduating class. Emma was a retired secretary at Garan Manufacturing in Adamsville, Tennessee. She was a member of Hollands Creek United Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
She married Ottie C. Parker on March 2, 1947. Ottie preceded her in death on May 5, 1995. Emma then had a dear friend, Bill Brown, who preceded her in death on January 25, 2016.
She loved going to flea markets, dig stores, and yard sales. She had a large collection of Blue Boy and Pinkies as well as dolls, glassware, and numerous other items.
Emma is survived by her sister, Jo Howell of Nashville, Tennessee; sister in law Annie Gail Johnson; nieces and nephews, who lovingly referred to her as "Aunt Jack" - Sharon Bain (Larry), Glona Goodman, Beth Hinton (Calvin), Cherry Denise Johnson (Eddie Malone), Deborah Roberts (Tim), Jerry Johnson (Susan), and David Howell (Bonnie).
She was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Blurton (Neil); brother, Ray Johnson; brother in law, Evan Howell; nephews, Tommy Blurton and John Goodman; and niece, Suzanne McCloud.
