Elvin Weeks

Elvin Weeks was born July 31, 1929 in Leapwood, Tennessee the son of the late Alfie and Mary Harris Weeks.He was united in marriage to Wanna Martin on February 28, 1948.Mr. Weeks was a retired farmer and logger. He was a Baptst in belief.Mr. Weeks departed this life on February 22, 2008 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 6 Months, 22 Days. He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Wanna Martin Weeks of Bethel Springs, TN; two daughters: Barabara Ward and Myra Brooks, both of Selmer, TN; two sons: Gary Weeks and Malcom Weeks, both of Enville, TN; three sisters: Virginia Finley, Freeda Bricker and Brenda Pickens, all of Adamsville, TN; three brothers: Arvis Weeks of Bethel Springs, TN, Doyle Weeks and Waylon Weeks, both of Adamsville, TN; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Weeks was preceded in death by two brothers, Welbert Weeks and Shanon Weeks.
