Elsie Ruth Schlesser

Elsie Ruth Sanders Schlesser was born December 21, 1923 in McNiary County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Willie R. and Nola Roten Sanders.She was united in marriage to Eithel Kinsey Schlesser in 1946. Mr. Schlesser preceded her in death in 1979. Mrs. Schlesser was a housewife, enjoyed sewing and quilting and was a member of the Michie First Baptist. Mrs. Schlesser departed this life on January 13, 2008 at her home in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 23 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Fay Sawyer and husband Mike of Corinth, MS; two sons, Terry Wayne Schlesser and wife Bonnie of Michie, TN, and Ken Schlesser of Michie, TN; one sister, Laverne Knight and husband George of Michie, TN; sister-in-law, Ines Sanders of Corinth, MS; three brothers, Gerald R. Sanders and wife Barbara, Avis Sanders and wife Earline, and Horace Sanders and wife Sue all of Michie, TN; 5 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Schlesser was preceded in death by a brother, James C. Sanders.
