Elsie Marie Hoover

Elsie Marie Bowen Hoover was born January 27, 1927 in Bold Springs, Tennessee the daughter of the late Simon Peter and Lottie Elizabeth Berryman Bowen. She was united in marriage to Joe Hoover on Friday, January 2, 1948. Ms. Hoover was a Real Estate Agent and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Selmer, Tennessee. She departed this life on October 21, 2006 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 8 Months, 24 Days.Ms. Hoover is survived by a Daughter, Jody Jones of Selmer, Tennessee; Two Sons, Joseph A. Hoover Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee and Robert Hoover of Franklin, Tennessee; Two Sisters, Shirley Clark of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Doi Windser of Nashville, Tennessee; Two Brothers, Thomas Ezra Bowen and Jimmy Bowen both of Centerville, Tennessee; 4 Grandchildren and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.In addition to her parents, Ms. Hoover is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hoover and a Brother, Doyle Bowen.Memorial Services were held on October 24, 2006 at 7:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, Selmer, Tennessee, with Mike Pilcher officiating.
