Elsie Mae Davenport

December 27, 1911 — August 21, 2007

Mrs. Davenport died Tues. Aug 21 at NHC Healthcare Center in Somerville. She was born in Saulsbury, daughter of the late Henry and Ellen Hubbard Davenport and lived most of her life in LaGrange. The widow of John Franklin Davenport, who died in 1962, she was an assembly line worker at Sequentia in Grand Junction for 14 years and was a member of LaGrange Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Joy Davenport Gore of Somerville; two sons, Franklin Davenport of Grand Junction and Paul Davenport of LaGrange; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchilrdren and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Roy Wayne Davenport; two sisters, Lucille Earnest and Olivia Manley and a brother, Alfred Davenport.
